Steve has been showing some odd speech patterns lately. First, there was the painful overuse of “sweet” during the WWDC keynote. And now, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Steve reportedly had this to say:

… but as of now we think we made a pretty good doggone decision.

and

We’ve taken our best guess but it wouldn’t surprise me at all if it ain’t enough.

Perhaps Marvin Gaye was talking about the iPhone when he said, “I’ll be doggone if you ain’t a pretty thing”. Oh yes, “How sweet it is”. :-)
