		<description>The easiest way to know if an app is Carbon or Cocoa is hitting the &#039;Help&#039; key on the keyboard. Unless Leopard has changed the behavior or this action, Cocoa apps will display a question mark cursor, Carbon apps will either do nothing or bring up a Help window.

You can also grab the title bar of app windows, drag them to the bottom of the screen...Cocoa apps windows will spring back up to show the entire height of the title bar while Carbon apps will not spring back.

(Small exceptions to these rules exist when app developers or Apple itself creates custom interfaces such as the Apple&#039;s new iLife suite meant to mimic Leopard&#039;s interface.)</description>
